The College Council consists of the College Dean (Mr Dominic Byrne) who is responsible for the general management of the College; several Episcopal appointments representing the Bishop and the Church community (Mons. Doug George VG, Mr Francis Cleary and Mr Gerard Madden); several University appointments representing Charles Sturt University (Mrs Mary Dwyer and Mr Jim Hackett); the President of the St Francis' Collegians Association (Mr Tom Harrison); and a student representative elected by the SFCA (Mr Matthew Santos).
The house staff are responsible for keeping the College building in good order. Three staff share this responsibility: Mrs Jenny Langtry , Mrs Michelle Roberts, and Mr Ondre Nejman.
The Residential Tutors are responsible for the welfare of the residents in the absence of the Dean. The Tutors are appointed by the Dean from among the resident student body. The Tutors for 2010 are Miss Tara Glaw (Senior Tutor), assisted by three other Residential Tutors - Mr Isaac Allen, Miss Anna Barnett and Miss Rosie Taprell.
The St Francis Collegians Association (SFCA) is the social arm of the College. Membership of the SFCA is open to all residents of the College. The SFCA exists to organise social, sporting and cultural activities within the College as well as with other CSU Residences.
The SFCA fee is used to subsidise functions and to purchase recreational equipment for college members. Through its President, the SFCA is responsible for ensuring that its functions are in accord with the ethos of Saint Francis' College.
The SFCA Committee is responsible to the Dean for:
- Promoting the general welfare of its members and fostering co-operation between them.
- Organising, encouraging and coordinating the activities of members, particularly attending to cultural, social and sporting activities in the College.
- Acting as a liaison between members and the Administration of the College.
